Aicha is originally from Guinea, where she worked as a logistics coordinator for Medicins sans Frontiers (Doctors without Borders) and Population Services International. Her work with public health NGOs fostered a love of service. For Aicha, connecting with others on a personal level is the most rewarding part of her work – for example, by sharing challenges, advice, and cultural experience. A true polymath, Aicha speaks French, Susu, Fulani, Mandingo, and Spanish; she also reads Arabic. Aicha holds a Bachelors in Economics and Finance from Gamal Abdel Nasser University of Conakry, and a diploma in Hospitality and Management from ICE. Aicha hopes to obtain a Master’s Degree in Humanitarian Assistance at Fordham University.
